  2. 1.  Tighten the  high gear  screw,
  3. the one  that hits a  cam when you
  4. shift  to  the  smallest sprocket,
  5. until you can  not shift into high
  6. gear. Put the shifter in high gear
  7. position  and  while  turning  the
  8. pedals,  unscrew   the  high  gear
  9. screw  until  the  system  engages
  10. high  gear  again.  Shift  between
  11. high gear and  the second smallest
  12. several  times, backing  the screw
  13. out a little  more, just until the
  14. derailleur shifts smoothly.
  15.  
  16. 2.  Tighten  the  low  gear  screw
  17. until  you  no  longer  get  first
  18. gear. Repeat the  process for this
  19. low gear limit.
