  8.         Because differences exist in the rates at which various tape 
  9.         counters  measure, I have provided locator references  based 
  10.         upon  cumulative  tape  time.  This can  be  converted  into 
  11.         "counter time" which must be developed upon each  individual 
  12.         machine.

  14.         NOTE: This course was recorded originally for commercial pur-
  15.         poses and on the tape I may refer to a page # that was in the
  16.         commercial text. In all cases just refer to the  page numbers
  17.         listed below.
