TUNING UP YOUR BICYCLE
As you know, a person riding a
bike is the most efficent animal
on earth in terms of travel for
energy expended. We are also the
most efficient machine on earth
using the same criteria. However,
bikes must be a compromise of
weight, expense and efficiency.
Therefore, they are fragile and
need frequent adjustment.
Why pay the high-school kids at
the bike shop $20 or more every
time your bike needs a tune up,
when, with just a little reading
and practice you can do a better
job yourself? Why pay the kid,
when it is fun to do it yourself?
