  7.     Meet Georgie Anne Geyer, A feisty foreign correspondent
  8. who has turned her tape recorder on Khomeinis, Gaddafis and
  9. kings. She's smart and sophisticated, tough and tenacious. She
  10. would make a great character on a hip TV show. Now meet Georgie
  11. Anne Lahti, the wily ex-journalist played by MARKIE POST on the
  12. new CBS sitcom Hearts Afire. Both Georgie Annes are hard
  13. driven, both live in D.C., and both penned books about Fidel
  14. Castro. Coincidence? That's what Hearts creator Linda
  15. Bloodworth-Thomason claims. But the real-life reporter doesn't
  16. buy it. "I'm not pleased. It's an appropriation of my persona,"
  17. says Geyer, 57, who has fired off a letter to the show's
  18. producers via her attorney. According to Bloodworth-Thomason,
  19. the breezy TV Georgie is instead loosely based on brassy Italian
  20. journalist Oriana Fallaci.
