- Telescope's mirror, the world's largest, is complete atop
- Hawaii's Mauna Kea. At 33 ft. across, it is four times as
- powerful as the fabled 200-incher at Mount Palomar. Keck I will
- see to the edge of the visible universe; its twin, Keck II, is
- already on the drawing board.
