  12. Chris Novoselic joined forces with drummer David Grohl in 1990.
  13. Since then the group's punk-pop fusion and themes of alienation
  14. and injustice have struck a chord with college students, who
  15. raided record stores over the winter break, sending sales of
  16. Nevermind to the pinnacle of popdom.
