  67. This package contains Snooper(TM), the System Checker, by Vias and
  68. Associates.  This document contains only a brief description of the
  69. package and its features, along with instructions for its installation.
  70. Detailed documentation is included, but it is in archived form, and is
  71. more easily read after installation.

  73. Snooper is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  74. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  75. for up to 30 days, without charge (see SNOOPER.DOC for more details). If
  76. you like the program, and wish to continue its use after this evaluation
  77. period, you are required to pay for the program.  Any fee you may have
  78. paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation
  79. version was a fee for their copying and distribution services, rather
  80. than a payment for continued use of the program.

  107. ===== Installation =====================================
  108.  
  109. The installation procedure for Snooper is quite simple.  You will need
  110. about 400K of available disk space on the hard drive on which you plan
  111. to install Snooper.  (You can run it from a floppy if you choose.)
  112.  
  113. If the copy of Snooper you received has our install program, simply
  114. make the applicable floppy drive the default and invoke the install
  115. program:
  116.

  118.    INSTALL <ENTER>

  120. Then follow the instructions on the screen.  No changes will be made to
  121. your system files without your permission.
  122.  
  123. If the copy you received does not have our install program,
  124. see SNOOPER.DOC under "DOS Installation."  Basically, copy all files to
  125. a subdirectory.  Normally, no changes need to be made to your system
  126. files.  Type SNOOPER to run the program.

  131. Once you've complete the installation, you should consult the documents
  132. which have been installed.  In particular, read at least the READ.ME
  133. file, view the help screens by pressing F1 in the program, and refer to
  134. the SNOOPER.DOC file for more detailed information.  It will give you
  135. the information you need to properly evaluate Snooper.
