3.44*  07/19/96  Added recognition of 166, 180, and 200MHz systems.
                 Added new BBS listing and Web site.
3.43*  02/18/96  Snooper's ninth birthday!  Added the First Impression
                 Installation program.  Now you can just run INSTALL
                 to install Snooper.  It will work from a floppy or a
                 hard drive.
       09/17/95  Rewrote the game port (joystick) detection routine,
                 fixing a couple bugs and improving accuracy.
3.42*  07/17/95  If the High Memory Area (HMA) is defined, under DOS-5
                 or newer, Snooper now reports how many bytes are free
                 in the HMA, rather than simply reporting it is in
                 use. Some programs can use this space to store data.
                 To make room for this report, the A20 report was
                 removed (it is still available on systems running
                 DOS-4 or older).
                 Completely reworked the manual's index, making it
                 much easier to find what you're looking for.
                 Fixed a bug that prevented Snooper from reporting
                 video memory on some 1M VESA-compatible VGA cards.
3.41   07/11/95  Snooper can now accurately determine the amount of
                 data recorded on a CD-ROM disk, another Snooper
                 Exclusive(tm).
                 Snooper now recognizes 133 and 150MHz systems.
3.40*  06/21/95  Fixed bug in CMOS routines that caused some computers
                 to exhibit strange behavior when the CMOS was edited.
                 These routines should be safe now.
                 Added detection of many more Dell systems. Snooper
                 now recognizes fifty Dell models by name.
3.39   05/18/95  Fixed bug that would sometimes cause a computer with
                 an EIDE hard drive to hang for several seconds after
                 the user exited Snooper.
                 Snooper now recognizes 120MHz systems.
3.38   05/01/95  Added detection of several HP computers.
3.37   04/06/95  Fixed bug that told the user to reboot after the
                 SNOOPER.LOG file was edited.
                 Touched up Snooper's icon. It will look better on
                 colored backgrounds.
3.36   03/25/95  Added detection of many Toshiba laptops by name.
3.35   03/21/95  Fixed minor bug that caused a Linefeed character to
                 appear in a log file created on a machine with a
                 Logitech mouse driver loaded.
3.34   03/17/95  Removed LAN Manager detection because it caused false
                 positives when Snooper was run under Windows.
3.33   03/17/95  Fixed bug that caused mouse driver versions above 9
                 to be reported incorrectly.
3.32   03/16/95  Made system file logging more flexible by adding the
                 "W" command line switch. Here is how to log the
                 system files:

                 CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT        F
                 WIN.INI and SYSTEM.INI             W

                 Note the "F" switch now logs only the DOS system
                 files. This way, you can log the DOS and Windows
                 system files independently.
3.30*  02/18/95  Snooper's eighth birthday! Changed the order screen
                 and order form a bit to accomodate American
                 Express(R) orders and to help ensure registrants fill
                 in all necessary fields. Reinserted ORDER.FRM in the
                 ZIP file to assist users looking for a pre-existing
                 order form on the disk. You can still print one from
                 Snooper's main screen by typing <F1>, <O>, <P>, <1>.
       11/26/94  Snooper can now find and load system and log files
                 even if their hidden and/or system attributes are
                 set.
       11/03/94  We are now authorized to accept the Discover Card(R).
                 Snooper's ordering screen and invoice have been
                 updated to reflect this.
                 Added SNOOPER.FAQ, a file containing Frequently Asked
                 Questions and answers about Snooper. Please check it
                 first to see if it has the answer to your question
                 before calling for help. Thanks!
       10/24/94  If DRDOS is detected, and the version is at least
                 7.0, Snooper will now report "Nov DOS" for "Novell
                 DOS."
       10/20/94  Clarified California sales tax on invoice. California
                 residents should add the sales tax they normally do
                 in their area.
       10/01/94  We moved to San Francisco! This version has new
                 address and phone numbers on the first page of the
                 manual and Snooper's ordering screen (press <F1>,
                 then <O>).
                 Added ability to detect 3COM 3C529 EtherLink III and
                 ATI Graphics Ultra Pro MicroChannel cards.
        8/01/94  Relaxed detection of invalid IDE model names,
                 allowing more valid models to be shown.
                 The /T(uneSkip) command line switch now also disables
                 SCSI host adapter detection, which accesses the same
                 port addresses and can cause lockups on some systems
                 with network cards (see also: 6/30/94).
                 Fixed cosmetic bug on the Benchmark screen that
                 caused the hard drive number (0 or 1) to be written
                 in the wrong place on systems with more than one hard
                 drive.
        6/30/94  Snooper can now differentiate between Windows Real
                 and Standard modes, and the DOS-5 task-switcher.
                 Fixed false Pentium detection on some late-release
                 486 chips.
                 Added /T(uneSkip) command line switch. It makes
                 Snooper skip detection of sounds cards, which causes
                 lockups on some systems whose network cards are
                 configured to use I/O addresses in the 200h-390h
                 range, and that have network drivers loaded.
                 Reformatted the manual to print better on some
                 printers.
                 Removed the 5.25" 720K floppy drive type from the
                 CMOS screen (a rare breed, but they do exist). You
                 probably didn't have one anyway.
        3/30/94  You can now use Snooper interactively in Quiet mode
                 (no screen display). Be very careful when doing this,
                 as you may get lost and change something you
                 shouldn't.
        3/17/94  We have a new address! Please update your records
                 accordingly. Existing telephone numbers have not
                 changed, but we have added a dedicated fax line so
                 you can fax your order or questions. NOTE: This
                 address change was superceded by the 10/01/94
                 version.
3.29       3/94  We added the feature you've asked for the most:
                 Auto-Logging! This command line option
                 (/A[B][D][E][L][N][O][S]) causes Snooper to log
                 whatever screens you want, automatically, with no
                 user intervention. This is perfect for gathering
                 hardware inventory for an entire network through a
                 login script. See SNOOPER.DOC for full details about
                 how to use this powerful feature.
                 Also, changed operation of /Quiet mode switch to work
                 with Auto-Logging, making it possible to log all
