This program is in beta release. Please report
bugs.
It has run successfully on a COMPusa 386dx/387,
various 486 machines, and dell pentium 75 and 133 machines.
It cannot be warrented not to crash on any given machine.
While every effort has been made to catch bugs and the program
has had extensive field testing in the UNIX version,
we cannot be responsible for any damage incurred with
the use of this program.
It is as fast on a 133 MHz pentium as on many UNIX workstations.
Under win95 or win3.1 with the 32bit extensions AMMP can
easily handle 6000 atoms. For a 6000 atom structure AMMP will
require about 6M of memory.
The 16bit windows 3.1 executables are in the directory 16bit.
The 32bit win95 or win32 executables are in the directory 32bit.
It is well worth using the 32bit executable if you've got the
operating system and memory.
The program is copyright 1994,1995,1996 Robert W. Harrison.
It may be freely copied modified and distributed for
scientific use. It may not be sold directly for
profit or included in a program or package of programs sold
rented leased or distributed in any way for direct profit,
but it can be used in the development of
commercial products which are not computer software.
