  1.               DAD:  HERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOU.

  4. 1)   Make sure you PKXARCed this file in a directory seperate
  5.      from the earlier version of the S/W that I gave you.
  6.  
  7. 2)   Copy your version of AND.DAT into the new directory.
  8.  
  9. 3)   Run my program CONVERT with no parameters.  (It has no
  10.      output to the screen but creates a file called ANDNEW.DAT
  11.      that converts your old data file for use with the new
  12.      version of my program.)
  13.  
  14. 4)   Delete the copy of AND.DAT in this working directory.
  15.  
  16. 5)   Rename ANDNEW.DAT to AND.DAT.
  17.  
  18. 6)   Run AND and verify that the data Mom entered appears
  19.      correctly.  (If the CONVERT failed, the first family viewed
  20.      will be incorrectly formated.)

  27. 7)   Make a new PKARC file again called ADDRDATE.ARC that
  28.      contains only the files:

  30.                          ADDR.EXE
  31.                          REMIND.EXE
  32.                          INTRO.AND
  33.                          AND.HLP
  34.  
  35.      Note: Do not include this file, CONVERT.EXE, or AND.DAT in
  36.            the archive file to upload.

  38. 8)   Upload the PKARCed file to BBS's.  Use a short description
  39.      like:

  41.           "BDay & Aniv Reminder; Ph.#s & Mail Lbls"
