^6 After a year of programming with Amos, Luke Miller has a title on
^6Licenseware. Luke was the subject of November's SPOTLIGHT which went
^6out just two days before we heard about TECHNO SNAIL. It shows that
^6with patience and perseverance you will get to your goal!
^4 The story of the game is that the Baddy has Snailknapped all the
^4baby snails and your job is getting them back.
^6 The game is a maze/platform type where you have to get rid of the
^6snail pellets and bad creatures by `sliming' them. you can get extra
^6slime by moving onto the special tokens.
^4 The baby snails are saved by touching them, when you have all of
^4them from the level, a gateway to the next level opens and on you go.
^6 The graphics are good and a lot bigger than Lukes previous games
^6which make it easier for kids to play, they are bright and cheerful
^6and the baby snails have speech bubbles saying `help!' which is a
^6nice touch. The panel showing your score, snails to rescue and lives
^6is rather plain, it is just text on a plain background, but
^6nevertheless this isn't a bad game, it does have an addictive feel to
^6keep you playing which isn't a bad thing.
^2 Needless to say, the music is good, and comprises of a medley of
^2well-known tunes.
