^4 This game has solved the problem of four people wanting to play the
^4same game at the same time! There can be up to four players in this
^4game, two using joysticks and two using keyboard.
^6 This is a six section game where the aim is to move your player to
^6the top of the screen via platforms whilst avoiding obstacles, before
^6one of the other players gets there. There are set paths to follow
^6to reach the exit, it's quite easy to see which way to go, it's
^6getting past the obstacles that's the problem!
^4 There are switches on the platforms which trigger off events on
^4other parts of the screen, these include daggers, fireballs from
^4giant cannons and things that will squash you if you're under them.
^6 Diamonds fall from the sky, if you catch one of these, weird and
^6wonderful things happen, but that's for you to find out! Let's just
^6say that the results can be very confusing!
^4 You will get ten points for completing a level, and every time you
^4die, you lose a point, the nice thing about this is that the scores
^4go into the minuses so that you cann't die. This is great if you are
^4playing against better opponents as you still get to play even if you
^4keep dying! What's wrong with a score of -56 anyway?
^6 Revolution can be played by just one person, but this is best for
^6practising, the real fun comes when three or four players are
^6 battling to reach the top of the screen.
^4 The graphics are of a very high quality, the title screen is
^4excellent. The level screens have been very well thought out and
^4each one is entirely different. The backdrops include a factory with
^4wheels and cogs and a city at night with the building lit up. As you
^4don't get GAME OVER if you lose too many lives, you will see all six
^4screens.
^6 The game characters are great, one is a human, the others are called
^6Blub, Geek and Dweeb and are rather novel in appearance. They are
^6well animated and perform well whether they are controlled via the
^6keyboard or the joystick. I found the keyboard easier, but joysticks
^6are not my favourite form of control anyway.
^4 The only thing that I feel lets this game down is the way that the
^4game instructions and credits are displayed. They are just printed
^4in white on a black screen using the default Topaz font, it's a pity
^4that more attention has not been paid to this part of the program.
^6 That is the only thing that I don't like about the presentation of
^6the program, the game itself is superb and different from any other
^6in the Déjà Vu range.
