  53.                            SHAREWARE REGISTRATION

  56. Shareware is a new concept in the distribution and marketing of programs.  It
  57. allows you to use the software first and then make a decision to purchase the
  58. program.

  60. ProFile is distributed and marketed through the shareware concept.  You may
  61. copy the program and give it to a friend or colleague for evaluation.  Or,
  62. you may purchase the program directly from us, National Software Design, for
  63. $39.95 plus $5 shipping and handling.  You are encouraged to copy the program
  64. and share it with others.  Once you have evaluated the package and find it to
  65. your liking, please register with us, as outlined below.

  67. A ProFile registration licenses you to use the product on a regular basis.
  68. A registered user receives mailed notification of updates and free technical
  69. support via CompuServe.  Users need register only  one version  of ProFile;
  70. registration includes licensed use of all upgrades.

  79.      Use this option if you'd like the latest version of the program, a

  85.      With this option you receive a diskette with the latest version of the
  86.      software and disk-based manual, software support via CompuServe and
  87.      notification of program updates.

  163.                      THREE EASY STEPS TO GETTING STARTED

  166. Here's how to get started with this archived program file.
  167.  
  168. o    Extract all of the ProFile files from the archive file ProFile.ARC.
  169.      Use the program FlopInst for floppy disk installation and the program
  170.      HardInst for hard disk installation.
  171.  
  172. o    Print out the documentation.
  173.  
  174. o    Check to see that the program works properly with your con-
  175.      figuration.

  178.                          PRINTING THE DOCUMENTATION
  179.                          --------------------------
  180.  
  181. The manual and printing program are contained in the archived File
  182. ProFile.ARC.  To effectively use ProFile, you should print the manual and
  183. then store it in a binder.  Here's how:
  184.  
  185. 1)   Put the ProFile disk with the documentation and program file
  186.      PRINTDOC.COM in drive A:.
  187.  
  188. 2)   Type A: [ENTER] to make it the active drive.  Next, at the A> prompt
  189.      type PRINTDOC and then press [ENTER].
  190.  
  191. 3)   At the prompt to enter in the right margin, enter in a number from 0 to
  192.      255.  The right margin controls where on the page the documentation
  193.      starts to print.  For instance, a right margin of 0 will cause the
  194.      documentation to be printed starting the first position on the right
  195.      side of the paper.
  196.  
  197. 4)   You may interrupt printing by pressing any key.  Re-start printing by
  198.      entering Yes at the prompt.  Any other key will cancel the print
  199.      documentation function.
