  15. Provides a quick way of accessing commonly used applications by placing
  16. an icon in the system tray, that when clicked, displays a menu of those
  17. applications. Easily customizable.

  19. REQUIREMENTS

  21. Requires Windows 95 or NT 4.0.

  23. INSTALLATION
  24.  
  25. 1. Extract the archive using a decompression utility (PKZIP or WinZip).
  26. 2. Start QUICKRUN.EXE.
  27.  
  28. REGISTRATION
  29.  
  30. Registration is $10 (US dollars).
  31.  
  32. The registration fee has been raised from 8 dollars to 10 dollars due
  33. to processing fees and updates to the program.

  35. To register, send $10 (check or money order), along with your name, address,
  36. and e-mail address, to:

  42. You will be sent a registration code that will convert the shareware version
  43. of QuickRun into a registered version. Your registration code will be sent
  44. to you via e-mail. Registration codes will no longer be sent via postal
  45. mail.

  47. If you don't have an e-mail address, you can get one from several of the
  48. free e-mail services available on the Internet. Listed below are just a few
  49. of those services.

  59. Listed below are the steps to convert the shareware version into a
  60. registered version.
  61.  
  62. 1) Run QuickRun. When the About box is displayed, click on the Register
  63.    button.
  64.  
  65. 2) Enter the Name and Code in the registration dialog EXACTLY as shown in
  66.    the information sent to you.
  67.  
  68. 3) Click the OK button to complete the registration process.

  70. RESTRICTIONS
  71.  
  72. The Hover Mode option is only available in the registered version of
  73. QuickRun.

  75. HISTORY
  76.  
  77. 1.43    Increased the speed at which the QuickRun menu appears when the
  78.         icon is clicked. Also corrected a bug that caused the filename to
  79.         become garbled after a Browse.

  81. 1.42    Arguments can now be placed on the command line and the program
  82.         name is now put in quotes after a Browse.

  84. 1.41    Fixed a bug that caused the list box in the Programs tab of
  85.         the Customize dialog to flicker when items were moved or added.

  87.         in Hover mode. Also added support for accelerators in the

  92.         on how to use QuickRun. Also changed the look of the menu and
  93.         fixed a bug that caused the menu icons to overlap.

  96.         Fixed a bug that caused the icons to disappear when a file 
  97.         could not be found. Also fixed a bug that caused some 
  98.         registration codes to be invalid.
