SUMMARY

Provides a quick way of accessing commonly used applications by placing
an icon in the system tray, that when clicked, displays a menu of those
applications. Easily customizable.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires Windows 95 or NT 4.0.

INSTALLATION

1. Extract the archive using a decompression utility (PKZIP or WinZip).
2. Start QUICKRUN.EXE.

REGISTRATION

Registration is $10 (US dollars).

The registration fee has been raised from 8 dollars to 10 dollars due
to processing fees and updates to the program.

To register, send $10 (check or money order), along with your name, address,
and e-mail address, to:

You will be sent a registration code that will convert the shareware version
of QuickRun into a registered version. Your registration code will be sent
to you via e-mail. Registration codes will no longer be sent via postal
mail.

If you don't have an e-mail address, you can get one from several of the
free e-mail services available on the Internet. Listed below are just a few
of those services.

If you provided a fax number, your registration code will be sent via fax.

Listed below are the steps to convert the shareware version into a
registered version.

1) Run QuickRun. When the About box is displayed, click on the Register
   button.

2) Enter the Name and Code in the registration dialog EXACTLY as shown in
   the information sent to you.

3) Click the OK button to complete the registration process.

RESTRICTIONS

The Hover Mode option is only available in the registered version of
QuickRun.

HISTORY

1.43    Increased the speed at which the QuickRun menu appears when the
        icon is clicked. Also corrected a bug that caused the filename to
        become garbled after a Browse.

1.42    Arguments can now be placed on the command line and the program
        name is now put in quotes after a Browse.

1.41    Fixed a bug that caused the list box in the Programs tab of
        the Customize dialog to flicker when items were moved or added.
        Changed the QuickRun icon not to display tooltips when it is
        in Hover mode. Also added support for accelerators in the
        menu with the ampersand.

1.4     Separators can now be added to the menu and the order of the
        programs can be changed. Added information to the help file
        on how to use QuickRun. Also changed the look of the menu and
        fixed a bug that caused the menu icons to overlap.

1.3     Added an option for having the menu items sorted or unsorted.
        Fixed a bug that caused the icons to disappear when a file 
        could not be found. Also fixed a bug that caused some 
        registration codes to be invalid.

1.2     Fixed a bug in the Customize Quickrun Dialog.

1.1     The program can now run .LNK(Win95 Shortcut) files, and several 
        other interface changes.
