  14.  All the power of DeuTex is available to you via WinTex, the DeuTex
  15.  shell for windows, and the best texture composer ever :-)
  16.  Makes the use of DeuTex and many other DOOM tools real easy.
  17.  A must for advanced WAD editors (that's why I wrote it, indeed).

  19. Features of DeuTex:

  21. - reverse engineer existing PWAD
  22. - compose your own wall textures, reusing DOOM patches or
  23.    adding your own patches as bitmaps (.BMP)
  24. - add your own floors  (still quite tricky. see manual)
  25. - add your own sprites (a bit tricky. see manual)
  26. - replace the ressources you want in all PWAD (missions, sounds, graphics,...)
  27. - simple WAD creation directives (text file)
  28. - simple directory structure (for the ressources)
  29. - work in batch mode (like a compiler).

  50. DeuTex/DeuSF Manual DTEXMAN

  52. A note on printing: This document has been set up so that you
  53. can just type:  PRINT DTEXMAN.TXT
  54. at the DOS (or whatever) prompt.
  55. It contains no formatting, not even TABS. If you use a mono-spaced
  56. 10pt. font (Courier is perfect), the manual should come out formatted
  57. correctly (depending on how your paper sits in your printer). Make sure
  58. the 'skip perforations' option is OFF if you are using a dot-matrix
  59. printer, which is what I have tested printing with.

  61. Of course feel free to jazz it up with your favorite word processor if
  62. you like, but it isn't necessary. The document is set up so that every
  63. page number follows the previous one by 66 lines, so if page 1 shows up
  64. at the bottom corner of your printed page, all others should show up
  65. there as well.

  78. that DeuTex/DeuSF is not really as complicated as it looks at
