  2. CALCULATOR - This menu selection will allow you to pop-up a four fun-
  3. ction calculator.                                                    
  4.                                                                      
  5. CALENDAR - This menu selection will allow you to pop-up a calendar.  
  6.                                                                      
  7. NOTE-PAD - This menu selection will allow you to add/view/edit/delete
  8. notes.                                                               
  9.                                                                      
  10. CHECK AUTHORIZATION - This menu selection will allow you to maintain 
  11. an in-house check authorization data base.                           
  12.                                                                      
  13. QUIT - This menu selection will allow you to return to the  previous 
  14. menu.                                                                
  15. @NoteMenu                                                            
  16. ADD NEW NOTE - This menu selection will allow you to add a  note  to 
  17. the note file.                                                       
  18.                                                                      
  19. VIEW/EDIT/DELETE EXISTING NOTE - This menu selection will allow  you 
  20. to view, edit or delete an existing note.                            
  21.                                                                      
  22. QUIT - This menu selection will allow you to return to the  previous 
  23. menu.

  25. DATE - is a six digit field, that defaults to today's date.          
  26. @NoteTime                                                            
  27. TIME - is a seven character field, that defaults to the current time.
  28. i.e. 09:33AM                                                         
  29. @NoteSubject                                                         
  30. SUBJECT - is a 60 character field.                                   
  31. @NoteComment                                                         
  32. You may enter a note, up to 5 lines, at 70 characters per line.      
  33. @SearchKey                                                           
  34. You may search the note file on the date or the  subject. To  toggle 
  35. from date to subject or vice versa, press the arrow down or the arrow
  36. up key. To start with the first record press <enter>.                
  37. @Calculator                                                          
  38. This is a four function calculator. You can add, subtract, multiply, 
  39. and divide. To add the last entry more than once, just press  the  + 
  40. bar. To multiple 1.00 X 8% enter 1.00 * .08 =. The tab key moves the 
  41. highlite to the right. The shift+tab keys moves the highlite  to the 
  42. left. The C is a clear all key. The E clears the last  entry. The  O 
  43. turns the calculator off, or press the Esc key.

  45. ADD NEW RECORD - This menu selection will allow you to add a new acc-
  46. ount to the check authorization file.                                
  47.                                                                      
  48. VIEW/EDIT/DELETE EXISTING RECORD - This menu selection will allow you
  49. to view, edit or delete an existing account.                         
  50.                                                                      
  51. QUIT - This menu selection will allow you to return to the  previous 
  52. menu.

  54. You may search the check authorization file on the  checking  account
  55. number or the checking account name. To toggle from account # to name
  56. or vice versa, press the arrow down or the arrow up key.To start with
  57. the first record press <enter>.

  59. ACCOUNT# - is a sixteen character field. Enter the  checking  account
  60. number here.                                                         
  61. @ChkName                                                             
  62. NAME - is a 35 character field. Enter the checking account name here.
  63. @Approval                                                            
  64. APPROVED - is a 1 character field. Enter Y if the cashier is authori-
  65. zed to cash checks on this account; otherwise, enter N.              
  66. @ChkComment                                                          
  67. COMMENT - is a 65 character field. This comment will be displayed  to
  68. the cashier, in the cash register program.
