S C O R I N G
Remember, the goal is for the team who made trump is to get
three out of five tricks. The goal of the opposing team is to
stop them. If they do, it is called a euchre, a set, or a bump.
Depending on how the hand turns out, points are given for
one the following:
1 pt. = The team making trump gets 3 or 4 tricks
2 pts.= The team making trump gets all 5 tricks
4 pts.= The person, playing alone, gets all 5 tricks
2 pts.= The opposing team gets 3 or more tricks.
The game is played to ten and is commonly scored by using two
five's from the deck for each team. As each team scores
points, another pip is revealed on the five until both
cards are turned face up (ten points.)
The fact that the calling team was euchred is tallied by
showing the total number of times euchred in the scoring area.
This is used as a bonus for the winning team. Typically the
game winning team receives 2 points (dollars) for the game and
one additional point (dollar) for each time they euchred the
other team. The number of times the winning team was euchred
is not used in the final payout. The amount wagered is
setup in the "Game; Options..." dialog.

the screen. It is shown from the point of view that your
team is scoring, making your score the first one under "We"
and your opponent's score under "They." The score is shown
