¢ Config Selector 1.31¢ --------------------¢¢This is FREEWARE program. So, it may¢be free distributed by any way,¢anyone and any fee, but fee <=0. ;)¢¢This program uses procedure of¢reconfiguration written by PROF.¢¢Using SpartaDOS X you must often¢change your CONFIG.SYS file (and¢sometimes AUTOEXEC.BAT) becouse some¢programs (e.g. TurboBASIC XL under¢OSRAM mode) don't work under your¢favourite configuration.¢¢But now you can use Config Selector¢and have no problems anymore.¢¢ HOW TO USE IT?¢¢It's easy. Add a line at the end of¢your CONFIG.SYS file like this one:¢¢ DEVICE CS¢¢Next, write in root directory of your¢system disk (or partition A: of hard¢disk) config files with CFG extention¢and that's all.¢¢Now, every time when you start up¢your system, there will be displayed¢first 18 names of .CFG files. When¢you press the letter which is left to¢name of the config file the new¢configuration will be set. If you¢don't want to change current settings¢press ESC key to return to DOS.¢¢You can run Config Selector from¢command line. Then just type CS.SYS.¢¢If Config Selector is run 1st time,¢or there isn't file named like Config¢Selector with VEC extention in the¢directory where is the program saved¢then CS will write *.VEC file there.¢¢The file (*.VEC) is an auxilary file¢where interrupts vectors are saved¢in. This is necessery if in RAM were¢our interrupts procedures (e.g.¢installed by CAD.SYS). Changing¢current configuration may cause¢overwrite these procedures and in¢effect hang up system.¢¢Let me know if you have any problems¢or suggestions.¢¢ Wojciech Szychowski¢ ul.
