  8. Can I use TeleMagic in Background?

  10. "TeleMagic will run in background on a 386 or 486 based computer.
  11. However, we recommend that you do Rebuilds when TeleMagic is running
  12. exclusively. This is because a Rebuild takes a large amount of 
  13. effort from both your computer's central processor and its hard 
  14. disk, and will make everything else run very slowly.

  18.     "Even on a very fast machine, a Rebuild can significantly 
  19.     slow down all active tasks.  However, if you don't mind the
  20.     temporary loss of speed, you can rebuild in the background.

  25. "If you want to rebuild in background, we recommend that you use 
  26. the PIF editor to modify TeleMagic's PIF file, go to the Advanced 
  27. Menu (by clicking on the Advanced button) and make sure the box
  28. that says "Lock Application Memory" is marked.  This will prevent 
  29. Windows from swapping the program to the hard disk while it is running.
