  1.                           SPAGHETTI PIE

  4. 6 oz. spaghetti
  5. 2 T. butter
  6. 1/3 c. grated parmesan
  7. 2 well beaten eggs
  8. 8 oz. cottage cheese (ricotta)
  9. 1 lb. ground beef or sausage
  10. 1/2 c. chopped onion
  11.  
  12. 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  13. 8 oz. canned tomatoes
  14. 6 oz. tomato paste
  15. 1 t. sugar
  16. 1 t. oregano
  17. 1/2 t. garlic salt
  18. 1/2 c. shredded mozzarellaCook spaghetti and drain.  Add butter, parmesan cheese, and
  19. eggs.  Form into crush in buttered 10-inch pie plate.  Spread
  20. cottage cheese or ricotta over bottom.  Brown meat and vegetables
  21. until tender.  Drain off fat.  Sir in undrained tomatoes and
  22. remaining ingredients except cheese.  Put meat mixture into
  23. crust.  Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Sprinkle
  24. with mozzarella and bake 5 more minutes.  Makes 6 servings.
