  1. Thank you for trying WinGage 2.0a!
  2.  
  3. If the GDI or User available memory falls below 50% for an extended period of
  4. time it is suggested that you close all Windows applications and then click on
  5. the "R" (Restart Windows) Button.
  6.  
  7. The "X" (Exit Windows) Button does just that.  It exits Windows.
  8.  
  9.  
  10. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  11. -------------------------
  12. Copy WINGAG.ZIP to a temporary directory (C:\TEMP is a good one), and unzip it
  13. with your favorite unzipping program.  Next, click on FILE in the Program
  14. Manager and then click on RUN.  Select the directory you copied WINGAG.ZIP to
  15. and select INSTALL.EXE.  The install program will copy 6 (six) files to the
  16. directory you specify.  The filenames follow:
  17.  
  18.     README.TXT   <---The file you are now reading.
  19.     REGISTER.TXT <---Registration form. Please print and mail with payment.
  20.         LICENSE.TXT  <---You MUST read this.
  21.     WINGAGE.EXE
  22.     WINGAGE.INI
  23.     THREED.VBX
  24.     MSMASKED.VBX
  25.  
  26. After the install program copies the files it will create a Program Group and
  27. the Program Items necessary to run WinGage.
  28.  
  29. If you have any problems running WinGage, make sure the following files are in
  30. your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:

  32.     THREED.VBX
  33.     MSMASKED.VBX
  34.     VBRUN300.DLL
  35.  
  36. If they are not located in that directory then copy the *.VBX files from the
  37. directory that WinGage was installed to (i.e. C:\WINGAGE).  The file
  38. VBRUN300.DLL is not supplied with the WinGage installation files.  This file
  39. can be downloaded from just about any online service such as CompuServe or
  40. America Online or your local BBS.

  46. REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

  48. You can register WinGage online on CompuServe (GO SWREG) and look for
  49. Registration ID# 4876 and follow the instructions.  You can also send a
  50. check or money order (in US funds only) the address below.  The cost of 
  51. registration is $10.00 for US residents and $12.00 to non-US residents. 
  52. All prices include shipping and handling. When you register you will 
  53. receive a registration number which will disable the reminder screen.  
  54. You will also receive a free upgrade to WinGage.
