  17. Software Description:
  18. System Census for Windows is a system configuration reporting tool
  19. that you can use to keep track of your system. It reports on elements 
  20. of your Windows, DOS, network (if applicable) and hardware subsystems, 
  21. providing you with the information necessary to keep your system running 
  22. in top shape. As a Windows application, System Census for Windows has 
  23. access to ALL of the information relevant to your system.

  25. Keep System Census handy for:
  26.    - Saving configuration information prior to installing software,
  27.    - Providing system information to technical support representatives
  28.      when calling hardware and software vendors for support,
  29.    - Collecting information for the diagnosis of system problems.

  32. Installation:
  33. The requirements for System Census for Windows are simple:
  34.    Windows version 3.1 or higher.
  35.    DOS version 3.3 or higher.
  36.    Hard Disk with 500KB available
  37.

  39. All of the System Census for Windows application and setup files are 
  40. distributed in the MSSINF.ZIP file. 
  41. To install System Census for Windows:
  42.    - Unzip the files onto a floppy disk or temporary directory,
  43.    - From program manager (or file manager) run the setup.exe included in the
  44.      MSSINF package.
  45.    - Follow the prompts for the setup procedure.
  46.    - If you unzipped the package into a temporary directory (different from
  47.      the directory you installed to with setup), you can now remove the 
  48.      setup files from the temporary directory.
