Software Description:
System Census for Windows is a system configuration reporting tool
that you can use to keep track of your system. It reports on elements 
of your Windows, DOS, network (if applicable) and hardware subsystems, 
providing you with the information necessary to keep your system running 
in top shape. As a Windows application, System Census for Windows has 
access to ALL of the information relevant to your system.

Keep System Census handy for:
   - Saving configuration information prior to installing software,
   - Providing system information to technical support representatives
     when calling hardware and software vendors for support,
   - Collecting information for the diagnosis of system problems.


Installation:
The requirements for System Census for Windows are simple:
   Windows version 3.1 or higher.
   DOS version 3.3 or higher.
   Hard Disk with 500KB available


All of the System Census for Windows application and setup files are 
distributed in the MSSINF.ZIP file. 
To install System Census for Windows:
   - Unzip the files onto a floppy disk or temporary directory,
   - From program manager (or file manager) run the setup.exe included in the
     MSSINF package.
   - Follow the prompts for the setup procedure.
   - If you unzipped the package into a temporary directory (different from
     the directory you installed to with setup), you can now remove the 
     setup files from the temporary directory.

The files installed by the setup program are:
   CTL3D.DLL      DLL for 3-D controls in the setup program.
   README.TXT     Introductory information (this file)
   LICENSE.TXT    License agreement/warranty disclaimer
   VENDOR.TXT     Shareware Distributor/Disk Vendor information
   ORDER.TXT      Ordering instructions
   SHARWARE.TXT   Definition of Shareware
   FILE_ID.DIZ
   MSSINFO.EXE    System Census for Windows application executable
   MSSINFO.INI    System Census for Windows initialization file 
                  (installed to the Windows directory).
   MSSINFO.HLP    System Census for Windows application help file
   MSSI_REG.EXE   MSSI Shareware registration program
   WHATSNEW.TXT   Lists the changes/features of each version

In addition, the zip file contains a number of other files that are only
used during setup. These files are NOT necessary for the execution of 
the application. They are ONLY used during installation.
