  1. INTRODUCTION

  3.   Matrix is a shareware strategy game for OS/2. The game is played with two
  4.   players, with the opponent being either computer or human. The game consists
  5.   of colored tiles and a playing board. Players attempt to score by matching
  6.   tile colors on the board with tiles in the player's hand.

  8. INSTALLATION
  9.  
  10.   These files are in this release:
  11.                 MATRIX.EXE      - runtime
  12.                 MATRIX.HLP      - online help file
  13.                 README.MAT      - this file
  14.                 FILE_ID.DIZ     - BBS id file
  15.                 VENDOR.DOC      - vendor licensing info

  17.   Copy the first two files to any directory. Run MATRIX.EXE to play. Click on
  18.   the HELP menu item for more info. You can press ctlr-c to display a Table of
  19.   Contents at anytime when the online help is displayed.
  20.  
  21.   Matrix is a non-destructive game - it will not make changes to CONFIG.SYS or
  22.   the system/user INI files.

  24. OBTAINING MATRIX
  25.  
  26.   Matrix is shareware. You have a 45 day trial period before you are required to
  27.   register the game. To print the registration form, click on 'Help' from the
  28.   main menu, then the 'Help' submenu item, then ctrl-c for Table of Contents,
  29.   then click on the Registration section.

  44. PROBLEMS
  45.  
  46.   Version 1.1 currently has a minor bug, resulting in the computer player to
  47.   occasionally play an illegal move (usually an overlapping tile move). If this
  48.   occurs, try selecting Undo a few times, then start playing again. If
  49.   necessary, press the 'New Game' button. Users will always comes across other
  50.   bugs. Please let us know of any problems via email by placing "Matrix bug" in
