LoraCD/DOS 1.00 Evaluation

Translation notes:
=================
I've traslated as best I can do.. if someone would make a more lexically
correct version of this documentation, I'd appreciate it and include instead
of this very "brutal" translation.. Sorry, but I've studied french :-(
Purpose of the program
======================
LoraCD is a program that adds the files areas of a CD-ROM in the configuration
file of LoraBBS. In some cases is able of also add the descriptions of new
areas.
In order to facilitate the management of multiple CD-ROM on an individual
reader, LoraCD has an option that allows of brand HIDDEN the areas of which
doesn't succeed to find.
Operation
=========
LoraCD before all copies the old configuration in two back-up files called
"___file.idx" and "___file.dat." In succession adds the new areas according to
parameters indicated to the program; the areas to add is searched in the drive
specified as first parameter.
Use
===
LoraCD must be launched in the same directory in which they locate the
files "sysfile.dat" and "sysfile.idx" (usually <Drive>:\LORA\ ).
Parameters
==========
-$ : Copy [ast area setting
======================
Instead that create the new areas according only to the
command line parameters, itemizing this parameter all settings
will be copied from those of the last read area (to exception of
the number of group of the area.)
NOTE: The indicators from line of command overwrites in each
case those specified in the configuration of last existing area.
-U<path> : Upload path for new areas

Allows of itemize the directory in which will come inserted
the uploaded files in all these area
-F<path> : Path for FILES.BBS
==================
Allows of itemize the directory in which will come inserted
the files containers of the descriptions of the files
present in these areas. These files will come renamed like
"FILES.<number_of_area>".
-S<code> : Start number for new areas

Beginning of the numeration of the new areas:
- S0 begins from the following ten
- Sx begins from the following ten + x
- S00 begins from the hundred following
- S0x begins from the hundred following+ x
If not specified begin from the following number.
ES: If the last area has number 17,
with -S0 the first addition will be numbered 20,
with -S1 the first addition will be numbered 21,
with -S00 the first addition will be numbered 100,
with -S01 the first addition will be numbered 101.
-T<attr> : Attributes [new areas]

Allows of itemize the attributes for the new areas:
No DownLoad Limits = 1,
Any system can request = 2,
Know system can request = 4,
Prot. system can request = 8,
No news generation = 16,
No Global Search = 32,
No Given Lines = 64,
Group Restricted = 128,
CD-ROM areas = 256.
If you want to activate more than just an attribute (the default
is 0, that is [..GS]) you must add the values.
-A<level> : Access level
-D<level> : Download level
-L<level> : Upload level

Allows of establish the levels of access, download, upload of
the new areas create:
TWIT= 16, DISGRACE= 32, LIMITED= 48,
NORMAL= 64, WORTHY= 80, PRIVIL= 96,
FAVORED= 112, EXTRA= 128, CLERK= 144,
ASSTSYSOP= 160, SYSOP= 176, HIDDEN= 192.
On efault the areas have created with all the levels specified
to SYSOP.
-C<file> : File of area's contents

A directory founded on the specified drive is a file area
ONLY if is present in her these file. For default is named
"FILES.BBS." In the case have been specified to copy the
files of description in a different directory, this is the
file that comes copied.
-G<group> : Group number for new areas

Allows of itemize one group for the new areas.

N.B. The path can end with a character of backslash ('\').
Is planned to extend the approved formats. Of default the
file searched is named "dirs.txt".
-Q : Quiet mode
==========
The program doesn't cause output to video. Useful for executions
from batch. Speed up (also if of little) the execution.
HIDE : Hide mode
=========
Each area of which is not possible to find comes marked with
HIDDEN access, that hide it to the users. Each area formerly
covert that is again available comes rehabilitated with the
old level of access when the program is re-runned.
Useful to manage multiple CD-ROM gyration on an single reader.
