%05INTERMEM PROFESSIONAL CALENDAR HELP
%04CALENDAR BASICS
%01Background Tiles%00 Each day (like 1, 2,
etc.) has a tile behind it. What INTERMEM
Professional does is looks at all the
events scheduled for that day. It then
finds the most important event, and its
color becomes the color of the tile. So
if you had a nonessential (%10green%00) event,
an important (%14yellow%00) event, and a very
important (%04red%00) event all scheduled for
the same day you would see a red tile behind
the day. This tells you the most
important event scheduled on that day is
very important.
%01Number Buttons%00 Let's continue the above
example. Let's say you see a %04red%00 tile
behind the number 25 (the 25th day of the
month). Lets say you want to see what
events you have sheduled for that day.
Simply move the mouse pointer to the
number 25 and click the left mouse button.
INTERMEM Professional will load all the
events scheduled for that day and display
them for you to view, edit, and delete.
%04MOVING AROUND THE CALENDAR
%01Next Month%00 moves you forward a month. So
@
if you are in the month of September, it
will move you foward a month to October.
%01Last Month%00 moves you back a month. So
if you are in the month of September, it
will move you back a month to August.
%01Go to Date%00 lets you jump to a specific month
and year. Click on this and a box will pop
up asking you for the month. Type the month
number, like 9 for September, then press
enter. A second box will pop up asking you
for the year. Type the year, like 1995 and
press enter. The calendar will move to the
month and year you entered.
%04ADDING AN EVENT
%01Add%00 Click on this button and follow the
instructions to add a new message (event).
For example, you may want to add your
anniversary or an important meeting coming
up. Clicking on this button will allow you
to add these events.
%04FINDING AN EVENT
%01Search%00 helps you find an event or multiple
events. Let's say you want to find out
when all your business meetings are
scheduled for, and let's say in your
messages (the four lines you have to
@
describe the event) you said the word
meeting. Click on the search button
and you will be asked to type a
keyword. Type MEETING. INTERMEM Pro
treats uppercase and lowercase the
same, so don't worry about that.
Once you've typed MEETING press enter.
IMPRO will scan all your events for the
word MEETING and it will then display
all the events it found and it will
allow you to view, edit, and delete
each one individually.
%04OTHER
%01Info%00 is something you'll have to try.
%01EXIT%00 When you're ready to leave
IMPRO just click this button or press
escape. It will exit you to DOS.
%15HINTS!:%00 Press DONE to quit back to
the previous, or main menu. Press EXIT
to quit to DOS (in Calendar). Each
screen has either an EXIT or DONE button.
Pressing ESCAPE is the same as clicking
on this button.
If you have a choice of numbers or
letters (like 1-4, or A-L), you can just
press the number or letter key on your
keyboard, you don't have to click the
button with your mouse.
@
%04 The button outlined is the default
button. Just press %13ENTER%04 to accept
the default. (This is a real time saver).
