  1. Dear CISAir pilot,

  3. Here is a draft flight manual for the Shorts S3-60 for your convenience and
  4. education.
  5.  
  6. It consists of three parts (files):
  7. - The complete and genuine check list for your airplane (chklsts.txt)
  8. - The speed related data (airspeed limitations and recommended speeds)
  9.   (speeds.txt)
  10. - Power settings and tables (settings.txt
  11.  
  12. You can read and edit these files with any editor (from EDLIN to the most 
  13. sophisticated WP software product) or just print it directly to your printer.
  14. (Use of 4print is recommended to save paper and energy ...)
  15.  
  16. Please read this information carefully and imagine yourself in the left seat
  17. of the Shorts ...
  18.  
  19. NOTE: To be on the safe side I do recommend not to extend flaps above 140
  20.       knots in the ATP plane (instead of 150 given for the real plane). I
  21.       have not yet tested higher speeds, but with 140 or less I do not get
  22.       downgraded for violating the flaps schedule as I used to in the
  23.       beginning.
  24.       The same is true for gear extension.
