  18. The drivers included on this diskette provide support for 
  19. Windows 3.1 in the following resolutions:
  20.     1024 x 768    256 colors
  21.     800 x 600    256 colors
  22.         640 x 480       256 colors.
  23. The 256 color modes at 1024x768 and 800x600 require 1 MB of
  24. memory (HP VRAM Upgrade Kit, HP D2326A, must be installed).

  29. Windows 3.1 Driver Installation
  30. -------------------------------

  32. 1. If you have not installed Microsoft Windows 3.1 on 
  33.    your computer, please do it now.  Refer to your Windows 
  34.    manual.
  35.  
  36. 2. In your Windows 3.1 directory, type SETUP at the MS-DOS 
  37.    prompt, and then press ENTER.
  38.  
  39.    The System Information screen appears.
  40.  
  41. 3. Select the setting for the "Display"(using the UP ARROW 
  42.    key) and press ENTER.
  43.  
  44.    A screen listing the available drivers appears.
  45.  
  46. 4. Scroll to the bottom of the list(using the DOWN ARROW 
  47.    key), select "Other," and press ENTER.
  48.  
  49.    Setup requests you to insert the display driver diskette 
  50.    provided by the hardware manufacturer.
  51.  
  52. 5. Insert HP Ultra VGA Windows Drivers diskette into drive A 
  53.    (or drive B), and type
  54.                        A:\  (or B:\)
  55.    then press ENTER.
  56.  
  57. 6. Select one of the available drivers and press ENTER.  See 
  58.    the section below about display resolution.
  59.  
  60. Please refer to the Microsoft Windows User's Manual for details
  61. on loading drivers from another vendor.

  67. When you install the HP Ultra VGA driver,  BE SURE THE RESOLUTION
  68. SET IS WITHIN THE CAPABILITIES OF YOUR DISPLAY.
