  11. ATTENTION!!!! It seems that the people at ID have intentionally "leaked" Doom  
  12. II in an attempt to teach pirates a lesson. Some people on IRC have claimed
  13. that after beating the copy of DOOM II that is illegaly floating around, a
  14. digitized screen of John Romero and some of the other Doom authors frowning
  15. and pointing at the camera comes up on the screen, followed by a message that
  16. states "You pirates have screwed us over ever since we released Wolfenstein..
  17. Now its our turn to do the screwing." - AND THEN IT WIPES YOUR HARD DRIVE CLEAN,
  18. AND RESETS YOUR CMOS!

  20. Oh well.. it was worth a try :) Hopefully you've already realized that I'm
  21. joking.. wouldnt be a bad idea though, eh? Maybe when the "Pre-release" of
  22. Quake starts to hit bulletin boards it will automatically erase itself after
  23. like 5 minutes and give you a mean message :).. what do you think?
