The reason there are not so many deep thinkers like you is because most
people don't distort reality so much. If I go in and steal a CD player
with the intentions of paying for it later, I'm costing the store since
that's one less CD player for them to sell. Out of all the people who
have Doom 2, I bet not one of them has actually stolen the game from GTI
along with the box, manuals, and everything else. There is a difference
between copying and taking. In your scenario, you are taking, meaning
you gain and the second party loses. In the actual scenario, one person
is taking while the second party still possesses. I'm not trying to say
that what these people are doing is right, I'm just trying to say that
your scenario is flawed..
