There are probably more people than you think NOT laughing right now. Yeah,
even if you are going to buy the game when it comes out, you are commiting a
crime RIGHT NOW by playing it. Its like stealing a book from a book store to
see if you want to buy another copy later.
What you are doing is taking advantage of a great company like ID. They don't
have to release shareware versions of their software, but they do. They don't
have to support it as well as they do. But you see them posting here, and
listening and talking to the public. And what you are doing is taking
advantage of their friendliness and stealing from them. How would you like it
if you had someone staying with you, and they stole your computer, 'just to
try it out for a while?'
