your argument isn't valid.. your lawn chair example refers to
something that isn't replaceable.. if someone were to grab the *ONLY* copy
of doom 2 and not pay for it, then that would be theft.. but if your lawn
chair wasn't for sale, but i *sat* in it for a few weeks, then I bought it
later, then you lose nothing.. if you were to xerox the designs and then
profit from it, or xerox the designs to something that won't be made
available, then YES, that's theft.. but if you were to xerox something
that will be released, and that you will buy, and you have an advance
copy ofr yourself that you're not giving to others who won't buy it, then
no one loses.. as I said, your arguments are very poor, because they are
not at all similar to the current debate..
