I got that too!! The only thing is, I thought Quake 2 ran kind of slow
on my 786DX8 running at 200 Mhz. I tried it at work on an Octium,
though, and it was SLICK!! Really- you gotta have an Octium to play
this game. It makes all the difference. Of course I don't have the
Soundblaster THX with 7 speakers at work, so the effect is kind of
lost.
Has anyone managed to get this running in deathmatch with more than 16
players? I think there must be some kind of bug because we tried to
add in the 17th and everyone crashed. Hopefully there will be a patch
soon. I'll be watching infant2....
