  21. Well, if clock speed is all that counts, you are right. But a P6 still
  22. can't do floating-point matrix algebra in parallel pipeline, so the
  23. comparison is somewhat useless.
  24. Anyone want to figure out whether you can speed up Doom on a Cray by
  25. doing all the perspective transformations in one large matrix operation?
  26. It would sure be fun to have a Cray II port. Maybe then I could finally
  27. make good use of our "supercomputing" resources. :)
