  13. This whole concept of legal vs. illegal to copy software is driving me
  14. nuts...  Who Cares?  It should be an ethical and moral responsibility
  15. for each individual to purchase their software.  I buy my own
  16. software, not because of copyright laws, but because it is the RIGHT
  17. thing to do.  I will admit that I have received copies of software,
  18. and have used them, BUT if I liked them I purchased them for myself,
  19. or else they go into the bit bucket.

  21. If you buy a car, you test drive it first.  So if the individual gets
  22. the software pirated or otherwise, and uses it, I only hope he does
  23. the right thing and purchase it.  Or else top-notch companies like id
  24. will no longer produce top-notch software like "Doom", and we all will
  25. suffer for it.
