  14. : The thing about this discussion that surprises me is how many people think
  15. : that _creating_ spin-off groups like .announce or .newbie is a good idea,
  16. : then are surprised that these groups _already exist_ but they don't get
  17. : them.  So what's the point?  If the traffic in .newplayers has really been
  18. : that low, further splits seem similarly pointless.  I'd rather skim through
  19. : all the threads in one place than slog through the same useless crap 5 or 6
  20. : times.  (You know the PENIS SIZE thread would have been in all the groups,

  24. proposed, anybody who knew anything about the groups would have 
  25. crossposted their abusive messages to all of them, probably.  Then we 
  26. would have not 1 but about 5 or 6 of the same thread to kill, bleah!
