  31. You don't have to have much of a case to sue someone just lots of cold hard
  32. cash.  I promise you Id has that.  Just the threat of a suit may delay the 
  33. final release date.

  35. Further, Id doesn't have to win it's suit if it decides to bring one. All they 
  36. have to do is drag the suit out and cost the makers of Marathon big bucks and 
  37. at worst they will make other developers think twice about making a product 
  38. similar to theirs.  And they could of course could in the mean time get an 
  39. injunction to keep Marathon from being distrubuted.  Lastly, they could win a 
  40. suit....
