: If you unzipped the whole Aliens package, you should have alIEngfx.wad,
: aliensnd.wad, and alingrfx.wad. to get the whole effect, type:
: doom -file alingrfx.wad aliensnd.wad alienlev.wad
: the alingrfx.wad gives the sprites, I have no idea what aliengrf, err
: aliengfx.wad is for.. perhaps miscellaneous sh*t.
No, it is not miscellaneous shit. aliengfx.wad is the wad you must
run DMADDS on (option 4 on the ALIENMNU) BEFORE trying to play Aliens DOOM.
There WAS no alingfx.wad before running option 4 on the menu. Aliens DOOM
just came with 3 WADS, one for the levels, one for the sounds, and one for the
graphics (aliengfx) that needed to be run under DMADDS before trying.
