Marathon will play good on 040s, but apparently its the fist app thats *really*
going to give you PowerMac envy. The 'killer app' for macs has been found.
Its quite amazing to be in network play, walk under a balcony, look up and see
another guy fire a bazooka down at you. Your body gets blown back, hits the
wall, and slowly slides down.
Lighting effects? Try walking down a pitch black corridor, using only your
motion detector and map for navigation. Suddenly a door that you couldnt see
opens up ahead, light spills out from the doorway _illuminating_ a stretch of
the hallway until the door closes again. Wowzers.
I "was" looking forward to the DOOM port to the Macintosh. Heavy emphasis on
the "was"....
