Hi, i've just tryed DOOM for SGI - yeaaaahhhh.... that was something...
Now i have a couple of questions here:
1) This is a shareware release, is there's a registered version ?
2) It seems like it wasn't written ESPECIALLY for SGI because it runs
on regular X-Terminals which is VERY strange for an SGI program.
I think it uses standart Xlib to redraw screens. So why not compile it
on Sparc ? I think that would be GREAT !
3) I got the doom.wad (from the DOS version) and tryed to run the
game. Everything was OK till i wanned to play on 2-nd or 3-rd episodes.
I get the R-Project sprite error. What is this ? I saw some discussion
about it but i don't remember is there was a solution. Is it something
to do with sgixdoom itself.
