I registered DoomEd by renegade graphics. First of all the editor was in
my opinion useless except for viewing maps, and changing the position of
things. As a Development tool for creating a wad it was essentially
useless unless you are only creating a 'very simple wad'.
I am the author of surmont.wad, on infant2 in newwads2 directory. I
created that wad using DEU. It is a very complicated wad with no errors
that I know of. It will not even load properly into DoomEd. There is no
possible way someone could create such a wad with DoomEd.
Secondly, I left Email at their BBS and received Registered status. I
also had sent them the Higher price registration which was to give me all
upgrades. I have received none. I have version 1.1c
In my opinion I was cheated with an almost useless product and no upgrade
support.
