I doubt they will. Most PC's do not have the raw horse-power to deal with
that sort of thing. Besides, if I am remembering correctly, most VGA systems
run 320x200 in "pixel-doubled" mode anyway (640x400 to the monitor). The
reason you need pixel doubling for many non-DOS (non-PC) platforms is that
they work in a fixed resolution (like Windoze), whereas DOS works in whatever
resolution the software wants (as long as the hardware can support it). I
doubt that pixel-doubling would work well on DOS machines.
