DEATH OF THE NET PREDICTED! NEWS AT 11!
This post (and followup) have been judged irresponsibe usage of the
internet. Please discontinue from posting such clueless discourse. Your
post has wasted .00000000000001% of the bandwith of the Internet
backbone. You bastard how dare you.
Netrek, Bolo, X-tank... Do you know what these games are? Why they are
games that are played over the Internet on xterms and Unix boxes.
Netrek games involve four teams of numerous players. Granted it is a
client-server model, but I would estimate an average netrek game would
"waste" the bandwidth of a 4-player deathmatch. Oh, and don't forget
MUDs and IRC. Terrible, terrible waste of bandwidth.
Yeah, and for that matter, USENET is a waste too... yeah...
