  35. As for the modem support, I happen to AGREE with the original post.  Just 
  36. because id has problems with 1.5 already doesn't mean they'll be *OH SO 
  37. BADLY* burned by the one simple suggestion that they add in more user 
  38. friendly modem routines.  There's always room for improvements .. in ANY 
  39. software.  id knows that.  Now stop your self-appointed guard dog attitude 
  40. and just *ignore* all the "P0sTzzZ from WhiNinG LaMerZzZZ" .. 1.x will be 
  41. out soon enough.
