I'm presently designing a WAD and want to compose an original soundtrack
for it for the GUS. I have it hooked up to my Ensoniq EPS (8 part multi-
timbral xmit on instrument channel) and I have it hooked up to the GUS
via a creative labs midi interface (the one that came with my SB Pro)
The problem is, it only transmits midi info on one channel using the
software bundled with the GUS. Is it the adapter (Creative Labs) or am I
just doing something wrong???
I have 8 channels I'm working with on the GUS and I load all eight
channels with a sound per channel. Now I set the midi on the keyboard
to transmit on channels 1-8 dependent on which instrument channel I press.
And low and behold, only the first channel instrument on the GUS plays.
It doesn't matter which channel on the keyboard I press... Any suggestions?
Cakewalk f/Win?
