  10. CreativeAV is a suite of playback utitlities that allows you to control the 
  11. multimedia devices on your PC.  It consists of five players: CreativeWave, 
  12. CreativeMidi, CreativeCD, CreativeOverlay and CreativeMovie.

  14. CreativeWave plays WAVE files, CreativeMidi plays MIDI files, CreativeCD plays 
  15. audio CD tracks, CreativeOverlay controls the video overlay device and 
  16. CreativeMovie plays digital video files.

  21. CreativeOverlay is the home VCR player in the CreativeAV suite of media 
  22. playback utilities.  It allows you to display the live video from a video 
  23. source on your PC monitor.  Some of the advanced features of this player are:

  25.         "Touch-Sensitive" Display 
  26.         Ability to capture and save each video frame in a selected file 
  27.          format. 
  28.         Direct control of an overlay's color settings.

  46. The "Touch-Sensitive" Display consists of several "touch- sensitive" controls 
  47. as well as indicators that show the current playback status and track 
  48. information.  By clicking on the "Touch-Sensitive" Display, you can toggle 
  49. among the different views.

  51. CreativeOverlay has two "touch-sensitive" views. They are:

  74. To adjust the individual components of Overlay Settings like contrast, 
  75. brightness, hue, saturation, use their respective graphic control in the 
  76. "Touch-Sensitive" Display.

  78. For example, to adjust the contrast :

  80.        1. Use your left mouse button to drag the Contrast Control to the 
  81.           desired level. 
  82.  
  83.        2. Release the mouse button only when the highlighted portion of the 
  84.           Contrast Control has reached the contrast level you have chosen.

  87.  You can also use hot keys to change the contrast level of the overlay device. 
  88.  Press <C> to select the Contrast Control and use the up and down arrow keys to 
  89.  go to the level you want.

  91.  Tip 
  92.  To force the Contrast Control to jump to the desired level immediately, click 
  93.  your right mouse button at the desired location.  This is more efficient than 
  94.  using your left mouse button to drag the control to the required point.

  101.        1. From the Video Source Selector , pick the desired video source.

  158.        1. Choose the Pause button to freeze the image in the Overlay Window.
