  9. DESCRIPTION

  11. Sound cannot be muted out of only one channel; if either the left or 
  12. right channel is muted, both channels will stop playing. This happens 
  13. when using the CD-ROM drive's headphone port, where different sounds 
  14. can be played out of the left and right ports. The problem is found on 
  15. the Mitsumi FX001DE 2X and FX400 4X drives; the IBMIDECD.FLT driver is 
  16. loaded on the system.

  20. This is a firmware issue with the CD-ROM drive. There is currently no 
  21. work-around or fix for this problem.
