Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures
--------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
After inserting Diskette 1 during installation of OS/2 2.11 on a PS/2
9595-OMT, the system locks up at the logo screen, or a screen with only
a blinking cursor appears.
The system is a 486-DX2 with 16 MB of RAM and a 1 GB SCSI-2 hard drive.
It does not have a RAID controller.
RESOLUTION
This is a hardware problem. You probably need to replace the Process
Complex board. Call 1-800-IBM-SERV for assistance.
