  1. NewGroups     Finding out about New Newsgroups at Your NNTP Server

  4. The NEWGROUPS command is used to display new newsgroups that have been created
  5. on an NNTP server.  If you issue the command without any operands, all the
  6. groups that have been created since you updated your NEWSRC file.
  7.  
  8. You can also specify a time and date that you would like to check for new groups.
  9.  
  10. For example, if you would like to see all of the groups that were created since
  11. 10 am on April 15, 1993, the command would be:

  13. NEWGROUPS 930415 100000

  15. The actual syntax for the command is:

  17. NEWGroups yymmdd hhmmss
  18.  
  19. (where hhmmss is in 24 hour time.)
